The short version. We collect the details you give us when you register, like your name, email, and mobile number, and use them to run our trainings and keep in touch in the ways you choose.

We do not sell your personal information. We never share your mobile number or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.

This policy covers Rie Artistry LLC, the beauty business owned by Cherie Bowen (“Rie Artistry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies to our websites, landing pages, registration forms, free trainings, and the emails and text messages we send.

Your first name, email address, and mobile number.
Your main beauty industry, and a short description of what you do if you choose “Other.”
Your choices about webinar text reminders, promotional texts, and marketing emails.
Anything you send us directly, such as replies to our emails or texts.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our pages, our website and customer management tools may record basic activity, such as the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, your browser and device type, and the page that referred you. They may use cookies or similar technologies to do this. After you register, earlier visits may be connected to your contact record.

How we use your information

To register you for a training and send you the details for joining.
To send webinar text reminders, if you opted in to them.
To send promotional texts, if you opted in to them.
To send marketing emails, if you opted in to them.
To answer your questions and provide the services you request.
To understand how people use our pages so we can improve them.
To keep records of your consent choices and to meet our legal obligations.

Text messages

We only send text messages to people who opt in by checking a box on our forms. Webinar reminders and promotional messages are separate choices. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of registration or purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not include the service providers that help us send messages, who may use it only to provide that service to us.

With service providers that help us run our business, such as our customer management and messaging platform (HighLevel), email and text-message delivery services, webinar or video platforms, website hosting, and payment processors. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
If our business changes hands, as part of a sale, merger, or transfer, subject to this policy.

Your choices

Texts: reply STOP to any message.
Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We may still send messages about a training you registered for.
Your information: email us to ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require.
Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as you are part of our community or as needed for the purposes in this policy, including keeping records of your consent choices. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards and reputable service providers to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our trainings and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our pages may link to other websites and platforms, such as Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply to what you share there.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
